Shah Rukh Khan has finally added a national award to his long list. The Bollywood icon shared the prestigious honor with Vikrant Massey, the best actor for his high-octane performance in ‘Jawa’, which was recognized for his fine role in 12th failure. This is a milestone moment in SRK’s first national award win-his decades-length.
Rani Mukherjee took the Best Actress award for her emotional and hard-touching depiction in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, confirming her position as one of the most permanent talents in Hindi cinema.
12th failed best feature film and other winners
Vidya Vinod Chopra’s ’12th Fail’ was declared the best feature film, while the Best Director Award was controversial but widely discussed ‘Kerala Story’.
‘Rocky and Rani Kim Prem Kahani’, the entertainers of Karan Johar’s romantic family, earned the title of the best popular film, which offers full entertainment, while Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ was recognized for contribution to national, social and environmental values. Vicky Kaushal-Starrer also won in dress and makeup categories.
