New Delhi: Debutant actress Alizeh has received a nomination in the Best Actress category at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 alongside Alia Bhatt and Jyothika.

Alizeh has made an impressive debut in Bollywood with Fairy. With the appreciation and love she received after her debut performance, the actress has won 5 film awards so far including the prestigious Filmfare trophy.

‘Fayrey’, directed by Soumendra Padhi, was a heist thriller film. It starred Alizeh Agnihotri in the lead role, alongside Ronit Roy, Sahil Mehta, Zen Shaw, Prasanna Bisht, Juhi Babbar and Shilpa Shukla. It is an official remake of the 2017 Thai film Bad Genius.

Phare premiered at the 54th International Film Festival of India.

IFFM is an annual festival of Indian cinema supported and presented by the Victorian Government in Australia. It aims to promote cultural exchange and celebrate the diversity of Indian cinema on an international platform.
