Following the cinematic premieres of BTS’s J-Hope and Suga’s solo documentaries that chronicle their artistic origins, the group’s youngest member, Jungkook, is also headed to theaters.
On Thursday, July 11, the South Korean music artist’s official social media pages posted a mysterious teaser image titled “Jung Kook: I’m Still.” Along with this new reveal came the message “Coming to theaters soon!” and left fans speculating about what this release would be. Officials moved on shortly after releasing this latest update without providing further information.
As expected, this shocking revelation left fans searching for clues, as the shocking news left them questioning the move.

What is the new “Jungkook: I’m Still” update about?
Comments like “wait what” and “explain yourself” soon started trending on x/Twitter while ARMYs awaited concrete confirmation about the upcoming project. Meanwhile, South Korean multiplex cinema chain CJ CGV also shared the same dark-themed and grainy image teaser on its social media profiles with the caption “Jung Kook I’m still here”.
Many fans assumed without any prior information that a solo documentary film of Jungkook would be released soon. Although the news has come suddenly, avid fans would be familiar with BTS’ maknae, who had previously teased about a similar project.

While promoting his solo debut album, “Golden,” the “Standing Next to You” hitmaker made his much-anticipated guest appearance on his bandmate Suga’s variety show, Suchita. At the time, he announced that he is already filming a documentary that follows his musical process from his pre-release single “Seven” to the making of his full-length album.
If the upcoming project aligns with his previous revelation, “Jung Kook: I’m Still” will visually memorialize the ambitious production process of his debut studio album, which comes out in November 2023, capturing his “golden moments” as a solo artist.
Before his official solo debut, the beloved BTS member was extremely famous for his self-directed and produced travel video series “Golden Closet Films” (GCF). Fans were also speculating about the possible revival of the brand with this new project. The mystery will soon be revealed, as more details are awaited.
The “Seven” singer also recently landed a joint travel show with Jimin. Their healing reality show “Are You Sure?” is set to premiere on Disney Plus on August 8, 2024.
