Kim got a glimpse of Indian hospitality

Kim took to her Instagram Stories on Friday morning to share videos and photos of her warm welcome at a hotel in Mumbai. In the first glimpse, she shared a photo of her welcome at the hotel entrance, where the staff greeted her with a tika (sacred mark) on her forehead, a shawl around her neck and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Kim politely greeted them with a “thank you”.

Later stories gave glimpses of the hotel, including photos of a marble elephant adorned with a garland of roses, a plate filled with gajras (small flower garlands) and Indian spices like turmeric, and floral designs on the marble wall. Clearly, Kim is obsessed with all things Indian and is excited about the big Indian wedding to come.

In the pictures captured by the paparazzi, the Kardashian sisters were seen exiting the Kalina airport in Mumbai. Kim even waved at the paparazzi before getting into her car. For her airport look, Kim opted for a nude dress and dark sunglasses. Khloe wore a white T-shirt and jeans.

Netizens are excited ever since pictures of Kim and Khloe from the Mumbai airport surfaced online. One social media user commented, “Can’t keep calm because Kim is in India.” Another wrote, “This is a big deal.”

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong also arrived in Mumbai to attend the wedding. Earlier on Thursday, Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas also arrived in Mumbai as they are set to attend Anant and Radhika’s wedding today.

Last week, Justin Bieber performed for hundreds of guests at Anant and Radhika’s sangeet ceremony. Now it remains to be seen who all will be attending the most awaited wedding of the year from across the world.
