It seemed to be a “rapid-fire” concert right from the moment Ramya Kiranmayi started the first rendition of Mysore Vasudevachar.Nadasangam, ‘Pranamamyham’ in Raga Gaula in Narada Gana Sabha. Niraval‘Siddhi Vinayakam’ is quite unusual and is reminiscent of the legendary Thanjavur Kalyanaraman.
The youth team also included Chetna Shekhar on violin and GN Bhuvan on mridangam. His focused and clean presentation made the evening truly special.
Ramya continued the fast paced Papanasam Sivan kriti in Raga Atana ‘Nee Erangayenil’. After a brief alapana, he sang his next composition ‘Sudhamayi Sudhanidhi’ in Raga Amritvarshini. The decoding of the raga in Ramya’s alapana was accurate.

This was followed by the fast-paced Kanada work ‘Ninad Neela Neerjaksha’.
