Former One Direction singer Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole has written a note about “disgusting reports and media exploitation” following his death. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Cheryl, who shares seven-year-old son Bear with Liam, said it was breaking her heart that she can’t “protect him from this in his future”. Cheryl shared a throwback black-and-white photo of Liam and Baby Bear lying in bed together. She wrote a note, “As I try to deal with this earth-shattering event and my grief at this indescribably painful time, I would like to remind everyone that we have lost a human being.”
Cheryl wrote a note talking about ‘media exploitation’
She added, “Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend, and a father to our 7-year-old son. A son who now must face the reality of his The thought of never seeing dad again is tearing my soul the most. The thought that one day Bear will have access to the disgusting reports and media exploitation we have seen over the past two days is breaking my heart even more. That I can’t protect her in her future.”
Cheryl asks people to ‘make use of some of these reports’
“I’m begging you to consider what some of these reports are serving, other than picking up the pieces to cause more harm to all survivors. Before you leave a comment or video Read them, ask yourself if you would want your child or family to do so. Please give Liam some peace after his death, thank you, Cheryl,” her note concluded.
He shared the note with a broken heart emoji. Liam and Cheryl started dating in 2016. They welcomed the Bears on March 22, 2017. The couple separated in 2018.
About the death of Liam Payne
Liam died after falling from the hotel balcony. Doubts remain about the singer’s final moments at the Casa Sur hotel in Palermo, Buenos Aires, as Argentine prosecutors say it appears he consumed excessive drugs and alcohol. Prosecutors cited investigators who found broken objects and furniture scattered throughout his hotel room along with drugs and alcohol.
It is not clear whether he jumped intentionally or accidentally fell from the third floor. An autopsy conducted hours after his death revealed that he died from a fall, which caused “multiple trauma” and “internal and external bleeding” to the skull, chest and abdomen and organs. Toxicology report results are pending.
