about the fight

Today, Badshah and Honey Singh are one of the biggest music icons with huge fan following. It is interesting to know that they started their career together as members of the rap group Mafia Mundir, which also featured Ikka, Lil Golu and Raftaar.

The band gave many popular tracks, like Khol Bot, Begani Naar Buri and Dilli Ke Deewane etc. The band last performed in 2012. They got into a conflict and public feud, after which, the two parted ways and started targeting each other on social media.

In an interview with Lallantop, Honey Singh shared how Raftaar has released more controversial tracks against him than Badshah. He spoke about how he respects Raftaar for his skills. He also revealed that Badshah’s family had approached him for cooperation but he refused.

In a podcast, Badshah was asked about Honey Singh’s health struggles, to which the rapper shared that it was really sad that he had to go through all this.

He said, “What Honey Singh went through is unfortunate. It’s that feeling of how you become worthless after scoring a century. I don’t know why this happened. My mental health issues affected me personally but I didn’t let it affect me professionally. I never took myself seriously and I still don’t know why this happened to me. In today’s era, as an artiste who has such a big role and responsibility, it is your duty to protect your mental health. It sounds glamorous and adds to your story, but that pain isn’t worth it. That rock star image with a tragic story is too good for textbooks. When you are playing chess on such a big level you have to maintain your sanity and every move counts.
