Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who is currently “devastated” by the tragic singer’s death, has broken her silence in a heart-touching social media post.

A week after his untimely death, the 31-year-old man died after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony.

Cassidy revealed on Instagram that the couple intend to get married next year.

In an emotional tribute, she shared beautiful photos of them, saying her heart was “broken” and she didn’t know where to start.

“I wish you could see the massive impact you have had on the world, even though it seems so bleak right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, friends and especially me. You are incredibly loved.”

She further described him as her “best friend” and the love of her life. Emphasizing that everyone he came in contact with felt was as unique as he was, she praised him, writing: “Your energy was infectious, lighting up every room you walked into.”

“None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of you not being here. I’m struggling to know how to live in this world without you. “Together, we have to be children again, always finding happiness in the small things.”

Describing her as the sweetest soul with the most playful attitude, he commented: “It feels like I’ve lost the best part of me. I can’t imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life.”

Cassidy also revealed the couple plans to get married within a year.

She remembered that they were sitting outside on a beautiful evening and reminiscing about their life together.

Cassidy also shared a note that Liam gave her telling her not to look at it. The note read, “Kate and I will get married/engaged within a year and will be together forever.”

In her heartfelt post, she further revealed that she and Liam will always be together, but not in the way they intended. “You will always be with me. “I’ve got a guardian angel.”

Concluding her message, she said, “I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, I will take your dreams and memories with me wherever I go.”

Liam died at the age of 31 after falling from the third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday night. According to Argentine police, in an official statement sent to The Associated Press, the father of one “jumped from the balcony of his room”, ruling out any possibility of an unintentional fall or foul play.
