Diljit talks about his mother in different languages

In the video, Diljit said in Punjabi, “When I was born, my mother spoke Punjabi. I learned Punjabi first. There are different languages ​​in our country and I respect them a lot, whether it is Gujarati or Marathi. Some people speak Kannada, Telugu.” And Hindi, and I respect them a lot, but because my mother speaks Punjabi, I also speak Punjabi. After this he started singing the song ‘Main Hoon Punjab’ from his latest film Amar Singh Chamkila and the crowd also joined him.

Diljit shared new video

The singer was seen wearing a black outfit with the national flag draped over his shoulder. Diljit’s show in Delhi – second day

On Sunday, the singer entertained a crowd of around 40,000 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium with a two-hour set. In this he presented songs including 5 Tara, Do You Know, Goat, Proper Patola, Hus Hus, Lemonade, Kinni Kinni, Naina, Ikk Kudi, Clash, Lover, Khutti and Patiala Peg.

The much-awaited concert, his second consecutive concert in the national capital, began at 7.44 pm, with the singer appearing on stage in a white dhoti-kurta, turban and aviator shades. He started the show with the chartbuster Born to Shine.

Diljit’s message for fans

“I want you all to dream big. Please dream as big as possible. We are born to fulfill our dreams. Dream big guys. If I can do it, you can too I haven’t studied much, but if I can, people talk in Punjabi, you can do anything,” Diljit told the packed stadium.

After months of entertaining fans across the world in countries like the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, Diljit kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in New Delhi on Saturday.

The singer will now travel to nine other cities across the country including Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune and Kolkata. The grand finale of his India tour will be held in Guwahati on 29 December.
