
Singer Diljit Dosanjh, who held two back-to-back shows in the national capital as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, met BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill at his residence. Diljit met BJP spokesperson
In one of the pictures, Diljit, dressed in a black kurta-pajama and red turban, posed with Jayveer inside their Delhi home. Many other people also posed with him. Sharing the pictures, Jaiveer wrote, “So touched by the gesture of my friend and superstar @DiljitDosanjh to take out time to visit my house! His humility, gentleness and kindness is a lesson in itself for everyone. Always pray to Waheguru ji for his success, good health and we can’t thank him enough for making the nation proud! Punjabi became famous.
Jaiveer praised Diljit
In a video, Jaiveer congratulated Diljit with folded hands and a hug. He also introduced him to his family members. In another video, Jaiveer praised Diljit and said in Punjabi, “Diljit is the pride and identity of Punjab.” His humility should be an inspiration for the youth.”
He also said, “You inspire millions of people. I want to tell my children as well as others to work hard and the sky is the limit. I can proudly say that I am in Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjab I come from and that is our identity.” Diljit said, “I will always remember.”
Jaiveer’s father is a fan of Diljit
Earlier on Monday, Jayveer had posted a clip of his father X dancing at one of Diljit’s shows. She wrote, “My father was feeling the excitement at Diljit Dosanjh’s show!! For bringing a smile on his face, for making everyone dance their hearts out, for making everyone celebrate music and most importantly… Thank you Bhaji for letting the youth know that hard work and kindness can do wonders.” !Punjabi has come Oye!”
About Diljit’s show
Diljit made a triumphant return to India as he kicked off the Indian leg of his much-awaited Dil-Luminati Tour at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday evening. The second show took place on Sunday. Before the concert, Diljit also visited Bangla Sahib Gurudwara on Friday night to offer prayers and seek blessings.
After their spectacular performance in Delhi, the Dil-Luminati Tour is set to continue its journey in other cities including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune.
