
Diljit Dosanjh announced the arrival of his globally popular Dil-Luminati Tour in India with two consecutive hit concerts in the capital New Delhi. There were fans who attended both concerts over the weekend, even though the second concert was added much later than the first upon popular demand. And one die-hard fan who couldn’t make it to the other event on Sunday made sure he got a glimpse from the best seat possible. Fans of Diljit, who is known as Karan Anandpuriya aka The Doper Sardar, shared a reel on his Instagram handle on Sunday night. In this he is sitting on a window seat inside an aircraft. He uses his smartphone to zoom in on Diljit’s concert being held at a packed Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium while flying from New Delhi. She put Diljit’s popular track Born to Shine on the reel and captioned it, “Never miss any chance to watch Diljit Bhaji’s concert, whether you have tickets or not, but we will manage it (sunglasses face) emoji) and no matter where we are (airplane). Emoji) We love you always Dosanjhanwale.” The official Instagram handle of Dil-Luminati Tour also posted it on their feed and Diljit ‘liked’ the video.
An Instagram user commented on the reel in Punjabi, which translated as, “Thank God Pilot is not a Diljit fan (laughing with tear emojis). Otherwise he would have crashed the plane.” Another wrote in Punjabi, “Oh, can you recognize Diljit?” (laughing with tears and blushing emojis).” A third comment, also in Punjabi, translates as: “How expensive are the tickets with which you are watching the concert here? (laughing with tears emoji).”
Dil-Luminati Tour comes to India
Diljit delighted the crowd of around 40,000 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium with a two-hour set in which he performed songs like Panj Tara, Do You Know, Goat, Hus Hus, Lemonade, Kinni Kinni, Naina, Ikk Kudi. Clash, Lover, Khutti and Patiala Peg.
After months of entertaining fans across the world in countries like the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, Diljit kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in New Delhi on Saturday. The singer will now travel to nine other cities across the country including Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune and Kolkata. The grand finale of his India tour will be held in Guwahati on 29 December.
