Andrew Tate made racist remarks towards Diljit Dosanjh in response to a video where the singer gave his jacket to a fan.
The first two concerts of the India leg of Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour have created a lot of buzz across the world. The singer performed at a sold-out JLN Stadium in Delhi on two consecutive nights and his shows included some priceless interactions with fans. One such went viral which involved Diljit giving his jacket to a fan. However, the gesture didn’t impress everyone and social media personality Andrew Tate took a racist dig at it. ,Also read: ‘Bet it smells of curry’: Controversial influencer Andrew Tate comments on Diljit Dosanjh’s video,

The video was shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user on Tuesday taking a dig at the fellow fan who received Diljit’s jacket. The caption reads, “Men used to go to war… now they are shedding tears of joy because their wives have found someone else’s used jacket.” Andrew Tate responded to the tweet, saying: “Bet it smells like curry.”
Reaction of Diljit’s fans
The curry reference is commonly used as a derogatory term for people from South Asia, meant to dislike them as unhygienic and to stereotype them for their food. This comment did not go down well with the singer’s fans and members of the Indian diaspora abroad. Referring to Tate’s legal troubles with human trafficking charges, a fan wrote, “Diljit is a bald human trafficker a million times better than you, your joke is not funny.” More jokes were made regarding Tet controversies. “Still smells better than sexual misconduct,” one Twitter user quipped.
Even Andrew Tate fans couldn’t stop themselves from defending Diljit. “Andrew I respect you so much. I think you have to say ‘STFU’ to this,” one wrote. Many people commented on how Andrew Tate, once a popular figure on social media, has now taken to wooing people for engagement there. “Andrew Tate turning into a rage-inducing response person is the craziest decline I’ve ever seen in a famous person.” Read a comment.
However, Diljeet is oblivious to this taunt. Neither he nor his team have reacted to Andrew Tate’s comments. Diljit is all set to embark on his Dil-Luminati India Tour in nine more cities after Delhi during November and December.
