Adnan took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday to share a collage of Andrew and Diljit handing over his jacket to a fan on stage. The text accompanying the collage reads, “‘Bet it stinks of curry’: Andrew Tate’s racist comment to Diljit Dosanjh.” Adnan responded to the comment by captioning, “Wrong…it smelled of ‘love’ and the best part was no one in the audience was a ‘rapist’ or ‘child trafficker’ like you guys.” You have been charged and for which you have been arrested.” Definitely smells like shit!! So STFU!”
Instagram users praised Adnan for standing up against Andrew’s racist remarks. One of them commented, “Sir ji bewakoof kya jaane pyar ki mehak (Sir, a fool would not know the scent of love) (laughing with tears emoji).” Another wrote in the comments section, “Thank you Adnan for standing up.” “Well said (fire emoji),” read a third comment, while a fourth said, “Hey isse peechee apna khoon garam mount kariye (Please don’t make your blood boil because of that).”
Andrew’s comment on Diljit
During Diljit’s recent concert in New Delhi, as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, he took off his jacket and gifted it to a fan. Andrew commented on the viral video capturing, “Bet it smells like curry.” Although Diljit has not reacted to the racist comment, his fans have condemned Andrew’s comment.
Andrew Tate was placed under house arrest in August pending a second investigation on charges of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering. Andrew, who holds dual US and British citizenship, had already been convicted in a separate human trafficking and sexual exploitation case in mid-2023. The lawsuit is pending challenge in the Bucharest appeals court. A self-described misogynist, social media influencer Andrew has gained millions of fans by promoting a hyper-masculine lifestyle that critics say denigrates women.
