Cardi B criticizes Elon Musk
Elon, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, recently took a dig at Cardi B. “Another puppet that can’t even talk without words,” Elon said in a quote-tweet in response to a Trump fan account. The account shared a clip of the Bodak Yellow singer during an appearance at a Milwaukee rally for the vice president and presidential candidate.
It appears he was referencing Cardi B experiencing a teleprompter malfunction during a Milwaukee rally, which caused her to pause briefly while someone handed her a phone containing her speaking points.
Responding to the same, Cardi B shared, “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work hard to support me!”
“I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of Section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set against you… but you don’t know nothing about that . You don’t know a single thing about the American conflict… PS fix my algorithm,” he added.
Elon was born in South Africa to wealthy parents. His father, Errol Musk, is said to have a partial stake in an emerald mine in Zambia.
Cardi B’s rally appearance
During her rally appearance, Cardi B gave an impassioned speech about women’s rights, criticizing Donald Trump’s sexism. She said, “Like Kamala Harris, I have also been the underdog, I have been underestimated, my success has been minimized and denigrated. Let me tell you something: Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and yet people question how we got to the top. I can’t tolerate any bully, but like Kamala, I always stand up against any bully.
The 2024 United States presidential election is scheduled for November 5.
