Diddy has been accused of rape by a man who claims he attended a sex party hosted by the disgraced rapper in 1997.
Disgraced rapper and music mogul Sean Combs, aka Diddy, is fighting multiple lawsuits for sexual assault and trafficking. case against diddy
According to reports, Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith filed a lawsuit against Diddy, claiming that he sexually assaulted her at one of his sex parties in 1997. Derrick claimed that when he met Diddy, he worked as a bartender in Detroit, who invited him. Sex party in a hotel. He claims the rapper gave him something to drink and ‘mixed a little bit of something’ in it, after which he fell asleep. Derrick claims that when he woke up he saw Diddy having sex with a woman next to him and the rapper told him, “I did it to you too!”
His lawsuit claims that Diddy conspired with the US government to conceal his crimes. Derrick is seeking $400 million in damages from Diddy in the lawsuit.
Didi’s reaction to rape allegations
However, court documents obtained by InTouch show that Diddy denies the allegations. The 54-year-old and his legal team claim that Derick is a serial pro se litigant. Which means he files lawsuits regularly. Diddy dismissed the allegations against him as “ridiculous allegations.” Diddy’s lawyer said, “Incredibly, in two separate complaints filed in two different courts, [Derrick] The alleged attacks occurred in two different counties on the same day, it is alleged. Diddy’s legal team also argues that the statute of limitations for the alleged crime expired in 2000, making the lawsuit ‘frivolous’.
Didi is currently behind bars. He was arrested on September 16 on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The rapper has declared himself innocent. His trial is scheduled to begin next year.
