Now, radio show host Bobby Bones has broken down Taylor’s purchasing power for the common man through an interesting analysis. In the reel shared on his Instagram handle, Bobby mentioned that Taylor has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion. Bobby said, “So I would like to see how much things cost to Taylor versus what they would cost to a normal person.”

They then compared the price of Lululemon leggings at $98 to what Taylor would realize – 11 cents. Next, dinner for two at Nobu, a luxury Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, which would normally cost $700, will feel like spending 81 cents to Taylor.

Buying the new iPhone ($1,200)? $1.87! Buying a car (average $40,000)? $37! And getting a home in America? For an average Joe, $300,000. For Taylor? $400! Bobby said, “Imagine how many houses we could buy for $400.” These are just minor indicators to underline Taylor Swift’s enormous purchasing power.

In the list of richest musicians, Taylor is just behind Jay-Z ($2.5 billion net worth) and has overtaken Rihanna ($1.4 billion net worth) to become the richest female musician. If she surpasses the previous record of $1.77 billion, she may soon beat Rihanna again and become the richest female musician of all time. He is currently at $1.6 billion.

According to Forbes, Taylor’s earnings are divided into $600 million from tour earnings and royalties, $600 million from her music library, and $125 million from real estate investments. Taylor first achieved billionaire status in October 2023. His Eraz Tour in the US, UK and Australia played a major role in his new billionaire status. Royalties from Spotify were another big chunk, thanks to her 2022 album Midnights and her 2023 rerecording of her 1989 hit, called 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
