“Ever since I came on Fox & Friends as a Republican, you know, it’s been a little difficult at home,” Germanotta said during Wednesday’s episode of the Fox Business show. However, with Trump’s landslide victory on Tuesday, the entrepreneur is confident that “[We’ll] Get over it.”
Clarifying his views, Germanotta further said, “What really needs to happen is, people need to understand that even though I’m a Republican and I have Republican conservative viewpoints, it doesn’t mean that I’m anti-LGBTQ. I do not support the community, or drag as a form of artistry.
“And that’s why we use the restaurant as a venue for drag artists to come and perform once a week,” he said, referring to his New York City restaurant, Joan’s Trattoria, where weekly drag shows take place on Sundays. There are drag shows. Wednesday and Thursday, according to their website.
Unlike her father, the Born This Way singer is a staunch Democrat. The 38-year-old singer made an appearance during Kamala Harris’ last rally, giving a powerful speech in support of the Vice President. Gaga also gave a powerful performance of God Bless America and Age of Glory during a Harris-Walz campaign event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
