Swifties Lied Taylor Swift at MTV EMAs

On Sunday, Swift and Post Malone were awarded Best Video for their collaboration work on Fortnite. The network had a pre-recorded acceptance speech message from the singer that was played on the show. In one part, she said, “I’m coming to you from the Eras Tour, and I’m so sorry I can’t be with you tonight.” I’m so sad that I can’t be with you tonight,” as told by Taylor Swift.

The video was played at the event held in the UK at night, around the same time as it was afternoon in Kansas City, where Swift was busy attending Kelce’s game, where Kelce defeated the Denver Broncos 16–14.

Swift was accompanied by her mother, Andrea Swift, who was there to support Kelce’s team. In the game, the football player achieved a milestone in his career by scoring enough touchdowns to equal the record previously held by a former Chiefs player, reports Page Six.

Fans call Swift a ‘liar’

“‘I’m so sad I can’t be with you tonight’ this liar,” one Swiftie wrote on X. Another user wrote, “‘Coming from the Eras Tour?'” More like coming from the My Chief Era Tour. “Calling in sick at work doesn’t work when you’re Taylor Swift,” a third user wrote.

Another user wrote, “No, I understand her and she deserves rest during her break, but lying on international TV will also let people know where she is.” [sic] Delightful.”
