WASHINGTON: TV and theater actor Paul Till, best known for his role in “One Tree Hill,” has died at the age of 35 in Raleigh, North Carolina, TMZ reported.

Teale’s representative confirmed that he died on Friday, revealing that the actor was suffering from cancer. Till’s partner Emilia Torello shared with TMZ that the actor was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in April.

Torello shared an emotional tribute on her Instagram account, writing, “You were my soulmate, my soon-to-be husband, my rock and my future. In the battle you fought bravely, you were taken too soon. ” Without fail. While a part of me died with you, I promise to fight as hard to find happiness in life as you fought to live every day.”

Teal’s One Tree Hill co-star and director Bethany Joy Lenz shared an emotional post for her friend on her Instagram account as she recalled their first meeting during a theater production of The Notebook in 2006.

“I worked closely with Paul for months when he played Noah in my and @ronaniello’s musical production The Notebook in 2006. He was shy and funny and very comfortable on stage. Wow. You Can’t Take Your Own Later, I was eager to direct an episode of One Tree Hill, where I had to introduce a new character, Josh — with his self-effacing sense of humor and willingness to be completely immersed. Whatever role I got the chance to cast, Paul was perfect for the role, he was a pleasure to work with in any environment and he was so generous,” read a part of his post.
