Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet were all smiles at a special screening of Lee, in which Kate stars as a World War II photojournalist.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are forever in the hearts of countless fans as doomed lovers Jack and Rose in James Cameron’s Titanic. In real life, both the stars remain close friends and often collaborate in each other’s work. Fans were surprised when the titular pair reunited for a special screening of Kate’s new film Lee in Los Angeles this week. Pictures of the two were soon shared by fans on X. According to a video shared by a fan account, Leonardo introduced Kate before the screening, where he said, “Tonight I hope everyone will witness a film that will capture not only the life of Lee The complexity, but also the emotional weight of sharing the truth, no matter how painful. Kate, my dear friend, your work in this film is nothing short of transformative.”
He continued, “I’m still in awe. I admire your strength, your honesty, your talent, and your passion for every project you create. So, without further ado, to one of the great talents of our generation. The one, and only – Kate Winslet.”
At the end of the video, Kate was seen in a tight hug amid loud applause from the audience. Responding to the photos, one fan commented: “Love their bond.” “They did it for me!” one fan quipped. Another fan added, “Been performing for each other since ’97.” “My favorite couple of all time,” read another comment.
