Sara Ali Khan is fond of travelling. As much as the actress loves traveling abroad, the actress is often seen spending some quality time in the hills of Kedarnath. Sara has a special connection with this place as she shot her first film in this small town located in the state of Uttarakhand. Since the release of the film, Sara visits Kedarnath almost every year. In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Sara talked about her sacred bond with the holy place. Sharing an anecdote from her recent trip, the actress said, “I recently came back from Kedarnath and I went with my stylist-cum-friend and manager-cum-friend and they were scared. They were like, we should get out of here. What are you doing?’ It’s just trekking, roaming, exploring, eating. No time for makeup.”

Sara Ali Khan further said that it is because of her first film Kedarnath that people recognize her when she goes there. She said, “Hopefully I have been to Kedarnath many times.” [will go] every year. Whatever I am is because of that place. Most of the people coming there have seen the film, so they know me. If I am sitting at a dhaba around Kedarnath, most people recognize me, but sometimes a traveler asks for directions to the temple.

In October, Sara Ali Khan visited Kedarnath just before Diwali. The actress shared glimpses of her trip on Instagram. In the first picture, Sara is shown posing in front of the temple. Others showed him praying to the gods, enjoying the scenery, and performing religious rituals. Finally, there is a video of the actress roaming the streets of Uttarakhand and exploring the local markets and shops. He wrote in the caption, “Jai Shri Kedar. Mandakini’s sister. Aarti is played. A milky ocean. over the clouds. Till next time. #JaiBholenath.”

Talking about the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in the film Prime Video. Oh my country my countryNext, she is a part of Anurag Basu Dino in subway Opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. The cast of the film also includes Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
