AR Rahman and his wife Saira Banu announced their separation on Tuesday after 29 years of marriage. Following the announcement, his daughter Rahima Rehman shared a cryptic post. “Through every difficulty, there is ease. Your God is going to give you and you will be satisfied,” Rahima wrote in an Instagram story with a video of the snowfall. Earlier, Rahima had requested privacy for her family in a separate post, asking, “I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be handled with the utmost confidentiality and respect. Thank you for your consideration.”
Khatija and Amin also joined Rahima in requesting privacy and sharing a statement on Instagram: “We request everyone to respect our privacy during this time. Thank you for your understanding.”
