New Delhi: The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024 got off to a grand start with the screening of ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’, a historical drama directed and starring Randeep Hooda, also starring Shyamji. Jai Patel as Krishna Verma, a revolutionary who played an important role in India’s freedom struggle.

The film pays tribute to one of India’s most interesting freedom fighters, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
