Recently, Karthik’s mother Mala Tiwari has shared the previous story.

talking to Galata India, Karthik’s mother said, “After the selection, he called me and was crying with joy. He said, ‘Mummy, I lied to you, I came to Mumbai to appear in films.’ I lost my temper. I said, ‘I have sent you to complete your degree and get established in life, why would you come into films? There is a lot of uncertainty. I started crying. He was like, ‘Why are you crying?’, I said, ‘I’m crying because what did that director see in you?’

Mala Tiwari said that she was worried about Kartik Aryan’s future and visited Luv Ranjan’s office. He further said, “I asked him (Luv Ranjan) just one question, ‘Son, out of all the people in the world, why would you choose my son? Let’s keep this between us and please remove my son from the film. But, he refused.” Karthik’s mother let him pursue his dreams on one condition that he completes his engineering degree and he kept his promise.

Mala Tiwari also revealed that Kartik Aryan is a “cowardly” person in real life. Recalling the time when Kartik lived alone in Mumbai, she said, “He was so scared of living alone there that he called me and requested me to meet him in Mumbai and help him settle down. He was so afraid of things that he refused to sleep in the bedroom and would request to sleep with me in the living room.

Mala Tiwari said, “It was a summer day and there was an old AC in that house. Once, when he turned it on, several baby bats came out of it and started hovering around him and fell on the ground, Karthik got so scared that he ran out of the house and started shouting, ‘Mom, please let them Leave it, I am scared.” He said jokingly, ”Your Rooh Baba was like this in real life.”
