Mumbai: After Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Ooo Antwa” from Allu Arjun’s blockbuster “Pushpa: The Rise” spread like wildfire in 2021, the makers of the film, who are now gearing up for the second installment of the film, have Apna song “Kisik” features Sreeleela. However, it seems the new song hasn’t hit the right chord with the audience.

The song was released by T-Series label on YouTube on Monday and currently its Hindi version has received over 114,41271 views and 3.2 lakh likes. The Telugu version has received 5 lakh likes on the platform with 2,96,51824 views.

However, it is the comments section that grabs the attention as listeners have written their thoughts on the track, sung by Lothika and Subalshini. The music is composed by Rockstar DSP and lyrics are written by Raqib Alam.

One said: “This sounds like a song from Dhinchak Pooja production”, to which a user also added: “Dhinchak Pooja is the best.”

Another said: “What have you done brother?”

A netizen praised the 2021 song “Oo Antwa” and said: “Oo Antwa song and Samantha’s dance = wildfire.”

While one said: “Ooo Antwa had feelings.”

Another said, “After listening to this song, I am happy that Shraddha rejected this song.”

In the Telugu version of the song, fans drew comparisons between “Oo Antava” and “Kisik”.

Talking about “Pushpa: The Rule”, the makers unveiled the trailer on November 17 in Patna, Bihar. The sequel of the film promises to be a high-voltage action-drama starring Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. It starts with a man in the background introducing Allu Arjun’s lead character Pushpa, who is not afraid of power and has no greed for money.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ directed by Sukumar will release on December 5.
