‘Max’ movie review: Passionate Sudeep drives this high-octane action thriller

It’s also quite shocking how Max has an almost incompetent team. When they are not blindly following Max’s instructions, the junior level executives are scared and clueless. Ilavarasu, playing the role of an experienced officer, has given a measured performance. The rest of the cast including Ugram Manju, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrita Wagle and Vijay Chendur are strong in their respective portrayals.

One cannot blame the actors as their characters are designed to artificially increase the tension. With an overly dramatic plot, the director’s decision to display stronger emotions than necessary hurts the film.
