New Delhi: Actress Sanya Malhotra who will play the role of an Indian housewife in her upcoming film, who reflects on inequalities between men and women present in the society.

Sanya starrer ‘MRS’ has been slated to release the OTT platform Zee 5 on 7 February. This Aarti is directed by Kadav. It tells a story of a talented dancer whose life takes a dramatic turn after getting married in a male-oriented house.

In a conversation with ANI on Tuesday, Sanya opened about the nature of society’s rhetoric, which asks women to quit their jobs after a child’s birth in marriage.

“We have a lot of expectations from women. It is very natural nowadays that a woman should leave the job after giving birth to a child. But both the child is right? It is the responsibility of both the members. Should be said.

The actress credited this achievement for her love to learn new things and a constant urge to challenge herself.

“I don’t like to keep myself in a box. I have always taken bold steps. I like to learn new things. I am really taking a lot of rest in life, but when it comes to the film, I will be the same as I want to try everything. ” Sanya said.

The ‘Dangal’ actress also indicated on her upcoming projects and said, “This year you will see me doing various types of roles. I am doing a role in Sunny Sanskari that I have never done before. Likes to give and it is important to challenge yourself. ”

“On the sets of Jawan and Sam Bahadur, I used to prepare for ‘Mrs.’. When I came back from shooting Sam Bahadur, I used to go on a call with Aarti to discuss the character.” Sanya said.
