The Mumbai Police said on Friday that the Mumbai Police said that Bangladeshi National’s Facial Recognition Test has come out positively in the case of Saif Ali Khan stabbing.

Earlier this month, Saif was attacked by an intruder, later identified as Mohammad Tejasful Islam Shahzad, who entered his house with the intention of stealing. After a violent confrontation with the accused, Saif injured his thoracic spine and wounds for other body parts. After the attack, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital for immediate treatment.

Amidst the ongoing investigation in the case of Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case, the Mumbai Police has claimed that he had enough evidence against the accused arrested.

In the latest success, the Mumbai Police said that “the identity of the face of Mohammad Tejasul Islam Shahzad conducted a positive test. According to the test, CCTV footage and Mohammad Shariful Islam Shezad confirms the person in the same person.”

The police also confirmed that the accused entered India from Bangladesh and lived at various places in Kolkata for several days.

Earlier, during a press conference, Paramjit Singh Dahiya stopped rumors on the additional commissioner of the police that fingers did not match the accused.

The spokesperson said, “Whenever an allegation is arrested, many evidences are collected against it. We have found very oral, physical and technical evidence against the accused … We have caught the right person.”
According to the police statement, the accused entered the residence of the famous actor with the intention of stealing. A case has been registered under sections 311, 312, 331 (4), 331 (6), and 331 (7) Indian NYAY SANHITA (BNS)

In addition, the police said that the accused was about to flee to his original village in Bangladesh, when he was detained at Hiranandani Estate in Thane.

His advocate, Sandeep Sheikhne denied police claims and alleged that no proper investigation was done till now.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital after surgery on 21 January. On returning to his Bandra residence, he waved to the media.
