New Delhi, 2 February (PTI) Movie distribution company Geek Pictures said on Sunday that it is ready to organize a special screening of the 1993 Japanese-Indian-Indian film “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram” in Parliament on February 15 Is.
According to a press release, the screening will include special invitations from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla as well as members of Parliament from cultural areas.
“We are deeply honored with this gesture from the Parliament of India. It is a privilege that our work is recognized at such a prestigious level.
Arjun Aggarwal, co-founder of Geek Pictures, said, “This screening is not just a film performance, but a celebration of our rich heritage and timeless story of Ramayana, which inspires and guides us.”
“Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram” was released on January 24 in 4K format with a new dub in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in India with its original English version.
The AA was also released by the AA films and Excel Entertainment in the country, the animated film was releasing on October 18, 2024, which was re -determined to make the film accessible in theaters in large numbers.
“Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram” is directed by Yugo Sako, Ram Mohan and Koichi Sasaki.
In his earlier Hindi version, “Ramayana” star Arun Govil gave voice to Ram’s character, Namrata Sohani Voice acted as Sita and the late Amrish Puri gave his voice to Ravana. Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha served as a narrator.
Screen writer V. Vijayendra Prasad, known for “Bahubali” franchise, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “RRR”, have oversee the creative conversion of the new versions of the film.
“Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram” was screened in India in 1993 at the 24th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), but was not released in the cinema hall. It became popular with the Indian audience on TV channels again in the early 2000s. PTI RDS RDS RDS
