After Imtiaz Ali, Manoj Bajpayee, R Rahman, Boney Kapoor joined the bandwagan and reacted to Ranveer Allabia Ro. Speaking to ANI, Boney Kapoor said, “What he did is something that I do not support at all. There are limits. There has also been self-sensorship there.”
Boney Kapoor also emphasized the importance of speech responsible on public platforms. “Inside your house, whatever you want to talk about, but on social platforms, you need to be careful and you need to be disciplined,” he said.
Ranveer Allahbiya got caught in the eyes of the storm when he commented on his parents and sex on comedian Samay Raina’s show India Got latent. He asked a contestant, “You will see your parents having sex every day for the rest of your life or join it at once and stop it forever.”
Comment made a huge support on social media and began a conversation about the idea of obscenity in comedy. In party lines, politicians also jumped into a dispute demanding action against Star Podcaster.
Ranveer Allahabadia and others, including comedian Samay Raina and the manufacturer of stand -up comedy show India’s Got Latent, have been called by the National Commission for Women over Darogetari comments on 17 February.
The Assam Police filed a case against 31 -year -old podcaster with Ashish Chanchalani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija and Samay Raina.
After the backlash, Allahbadia, who claims a huge social media followers, released forgiveness.
In a video message on X, on Twitter in the past, he said, “I should not have said what I have said about India. I am sorry … My comment was not just unfair, it was not even funny. Not even a comedy, I am not here to say sorry.
On Wednesday, Samay Raina reacted to the controversy for the first time and said that he had removed All India’s Got latent video from his YouTube channel.
“Whatever is happening has become too much for me. I have removed all the latent videos of India from my channel. My sole purpose was to make people laugh and good time. The inquiry is concluded.
