Star Yash has started shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, where he will be seen playing the role of Ravana.

Tiwari’s direction is being shot in India. Actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram and actress Sai Pallavi, who will ensure the role of Goddess Sita. Ranbir and Pallavi have shot parts of the film in Mumbai. And now, Yash, who is also a producer for the film, has started shooting for his share in the city.

According to the latest reports, Yash has landed in Mumbai and has already started shooting for ‘Ramayana – Bhaag 1’.

A source said that Yash started filming his share for Ramayana on 21 February after a two -day costume trial. Shooting part will focus on war scenes. The team will shoot some important war scenes at Aksa Beach in Mumbai.

According to the source, the producers will go to a studio in Dahisar for further shooting of the film.

The source informed: “The parts of the war are being placed on a grand scale, with action choreography designed to reflect Ravana’s strategic skills. It will be a combination of green screen shots and those who shoot on the ground They will and will include heavy VFX work.

“The piece of this set does not require Ranbir’s presence because it is not the Ram-Ravana face-off. Other prominent actors have joined Yash for this leg. ,

Yash will be seen by clothes made of “real gold”, designed by Harpreet and Rimple.

A source close to IANS shared details about costumes last year and said that the clothes being made for Yash are in real gold.

According to mythology, the demon Kings Kingdom was known as ‘Golden City of Lanka’.

The source told IANS: “Real gold is being used because Ravana was the king of Sri Lanka and it was a gold province at that time. So, all his clothes, whatever is being used, is being made in real gold. ,

“Ramayana” will be released in two parts. The first part will be released on Diwali 2026, while the second installment will be out at Diwali 2027.

The Ramayana also stars Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol and Indira Krishna.
