
Mumbai: It seems that in the comedian and the largest digital economy, independent material creators are running through a coarse patch. After a huge uproar on comedian Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Latant’, now comedian Munwar Farooqui is under scanner for his alleged comment in his streaming show.
Advocate Amita Sachdeva on Sunday took her X for her X on Twitter on Sunday, and shared that she filed an official complaint against Munwar Farooqui due to her alleged remarks on the OTT show ‘Hafa Recovery’.
Amita called Munwar “habitual criminal” =, and alleged that her alleged comments on the show have insulted many religions.
He wrote, “A complaint filed against Munwar Farooqui ( @Munawar0018)! I have officially filed a complaint against habitual criminal Munwar Farooqui, streaming on @Jiohotstar for his show “Hafta Vasoli”, requesting a FIR under BNS section 196, 299, and 353, IT With the Act and other relevant sections, to promote rudeness, insulting many religions, violating cultural values and youth To pollute the mind and society ”.
He further mentioned, “The complaint has been sent via email and will be physically presented and speed-posted on Monday. If no action is taken, I will contact the court to ensure justice! #Munawarfaruqui

This is not Munwar’s first brush with law. On January 1, 2021, he performed a stand-up show at Munro Cafe in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, which was interrupted by Eklav Singh Gaur, son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur. Case in India, Amit Shah.
On 2 January, he was arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Police in the middle of his Comic Act, stating that he was arrested under abusive language laws in India. Despite no evidence against Munwar, the police arrested him. His arrest was severely criticized for not respecting the freedom of the comedian’s speech.
