Set in a nondescript Hindi speaking city, Adam J. Graves’ Oscar-Namikh Small Film Anuja There is continuous consistency in twenty minutes for the attempt of Graves to pay tribute to the story tell. The film’s debut Palak (Ananya Shambag) narrated the Panchantra story of Wafadar Mongoz for her younger sister Anuja (Sajda Pathan). To tell the story, it is situated on the foundation of the Ode short and only Sajda’s Salt of the Earth is strengthened by acting.
To believe with each other only, the sisters feel over-conscious of different worlds, who have to navigate themselves-from the rich shopping complex that removes them or the owner of a greedy factory from the betel nuts on their teeth, who insist on squeezing the labor from their workers. They descend down to torchlight browsing and paper advertisements in paper. But the perception hidden under the laughter of spinach is that he will soon have to give it to the patriarchal institution, most likely against his wishes. He is convinced that he has nothing notable to offer to the world – while living in the shadow of his sister, a math’s prose confirms this belief.
However, Anuja is not upset about worldly matters – she only wants her elder sister’s association. His approach is placed for testing when he is presented an opportunity – a scholarship test for a acclaimed boarding school.
Anuja (Hindi)
Director: Adam J. Graves
Mold: Sajda Pathan, Ananya Shanbh, Nagesh Bhonsle
Runtime: 22 minutes
Story: When a nine -year -old girl, who works in a garment factory, once gets a lifetime opportunity to go to school, she should take a heartbreaking decision that will determine the fate of her and her sister.
One day, a teacher in the neighborhood tries to convince the owner of the factory of Anuja’s abilities and requests him to let him take the exam, only go away. The test of Rs 400 is eager to pay the amount by selling the stitched handbags using the remaining cloth out of the generation of generation for sisters.
In the next few minutes, we are witness to sisters that they are foreigners to push a dream out and out of the world. Seeing girls in space and navigating the Indian metropolis is anxiety-motivation, but you become unheard of a wave of relief on you. But no one can avoid inconvenience that comes with a clear difference in dialogue distribution between sisters – Anuja’s dialogue distribution and dialect is confident, while the Palak speaks Hindi with refinement which is difficult to look at their circumstances in this way.

Sajda Pathan in ‘Anuja’
The open end appreciated the director’s tribute to the director and made the audience feel part of the film. However, as the credit rolls and one starts doing one thing together, it becomes clear that the film has an air of corporate marketing that is attached to it and it can do better as a government advertisement and a preaching on the evil of child labor rather than a short film.
The length and random performance of the film left me longer for Anuja and Palak.
Anuja is currently streaming on Netflix.
