At the 22nd Korean Music Awards, on Friday, Seongdong-Gun, Seoul, AESPA and Lee Searing were the biggest winners of the night held at Yun, each of which ran away with three iconic awards.
AESPA took the Home Song of the Year for its smash hit Supernova, which joined his success with his first full-length album Armagadon, and Best C-Pop Song, Best C-Pop album for Supernova.
In his acceptance speech for the Song of the Year, AESPA expressed his heartfelt thanks, saying, “We had earlier won an award for the ‘next level’, and we are incredibly honored for getting another recognition after three years. We will continue to work hard this year, we will give back to what we have received, so please support us.”
On the other hand, Lee Seung Yun matched the three wins of the AESPA, claiming the composer, which was the best rock song for the Anthems of Defene and the best modern rock song for waterfall.
