The Supreme Court on Monday (March 3, 2025) allowed podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia to broadcast his “The Ranveer Show” to a broadcast to maintain “morality and decency” and is an undertaking that it was suitable for all ages. The apex court stated that there should be a clear division between the humor and deformity shown or shown on the online show and social media.

Under the chairmanship of Justice Surya Kant, an application filed by Ranveer Alladia was demanding amendment of a section in the court’s order of 18 February, allowing him to allow interim security from arrest based on the FIR registered in Maharashtra and Assam, which is about his comments about sex in parents and shows. Mr. Mehta appeared for the Center and the states of Maharashtra and Assam, said that Shri Allabia did not come after being called by Gauhati police. “He has not joined the investigation,” the apex law official said.

Mr. Chandrachud replied that the Gauhati police did not reply when Mr. Allabia had WhatsApp the date and time to the investigating officer when he should appear to be at the police station for questioning.

The Gauhati police were asked to make Youtuber aware of the date and time of its presence.

Justice Kant said that his request for traveling abroad would be considered after being involved in the investigation. Meanwhile, the court said that the arrest for Shri Allahbadia will continue interim security.
