The world is still divided on the answer to the question of whether aliens exist. Secret messengerA short film by PGS Soraj has detected the concept from an Indian, but is a South Indian reference.

19 minutes of small, devoid of dialogue, 800 years ago set up in a South Indian forest. A man goes out in search of something or someone. The way, he faces another person, who worships an object, worshiping an object. A battle begins, and the visitor dominates him. Just then, four figures emerge, and he assigns the object to them.

The twist suggests that visitors and four figures are aliens. “Many people believe in the existence of aliens, and I wanted to find that idea through imagination,” Soraj says. “I was inspired after watching an episode ancient AliensIn which it was suggested that the ancient temples of India were built by supernatural. ,

He says, “I have tried to pursue a possibility that aliens are always living in various forms among us. Only a few humans can recognize them. And that aliens are monitoring us beyond the stars through Black Hole! ,

Soraj takes creative freedom in breaking foreign stereotypes. In his film, two central characters are Kalaripayattu physicians engaged in a war. “I like martial arts a lot, so I integrated it into the story,” they explain. “The way we imagine that aliens are largely shaped by Western films and books. But I have depicted one of the human form and the other four as ritual folk art figures, inspired by the east and the thir. ,

As they seek the mysterious object, Soraj left it open to interpret – it could be a time machine or a hidden treasure.

The artists are Kalari doctors Ragesh and Kishore. Produced by Bijesh Nair, the film was shot in Thiruvananthapuram, with a standout background score by PC Vishnu and a standout by sound design. Cinematography is by Appu.

Soraj, who was to make his first debut of his direction characterized by Aju Varghese and Babu Antony, currently serves as a freelance film journalist and PR professional. While reflecting on the short, he accepts his challenges-unique artists and stunt choreography changes forced the last minute adjustment. “Despite its boundaries, it was exciting to resume aliens within an Indian cultural context,” he says.
