Mumbai: Harman Baweja -led Baweja Studio is set to make her Tamil debut with the much awaited drama “Perusu”.

Baweja Studio has joined the forces for his Tamil debut with Karthik Subbaraj and Kurtikin’s Stonbench Films.

Stone Bench Films are known for their innovative and style-defined films such as “Jigarthanda Double X”, “Mercury”, and “Rathnam”. The banner has constantly made the champion the idea-easement story and unconventional narratives.

Talking about the project, Harman Baweja said, “Tamil cinema has always been home for some most compelling and border-fasting story. In Baweja Studio, we are committed to support solid materials, and ‘Perusu’ is the perfect film to mark our entry in this dynamic industry. Comedy-drama will also install new benchmarks in space.

The producer/CEO of Stonbench Films, KartheKeyen S said, “We are excited to participate with Harman Baweja and Baweja Studio and welcome them to the Tamil industry. We are confident as our first partnership with ‘Perusu’ is confident that we will start a victory because the film is for a complete laughter.

“Perusu” stars Vaibhav Reddy, Niharika NM, Sunil, Chandini, Radin Kingsley, and Karunakaran in important roles, “said to be a laughter riot.

Directed by Ilungo Ram, the project is expected to reach the cinema hall on 14 March.

Beyond “Perusu”, the exciting lineup of Baweja Studio includes “Dil Ka Darwaja Khola Darling”, “Boy from Andaman”, and “Ikhwan”.
