Sridevis is a sequel for the last film Mom? Boney Kapoor planned to cast this actress

Jaipur: Producer Boney Kapoor, during the Silver Jubilee celebrations of IIFA 2025 on Sunday, shared that he is planning a sequel to Sridevi’s last film ‘Mom’ with his daughter Khushi Kapoor.

During the media conversation on the Green Carpet in IIFA 2025, Boney expressed his love for his daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor and said that he is trying to follow his mother Sridevi’s footsteps to achieve equal level perfection in various film industries.

Bonnie said, “I have seen all the films of happiness. Of perfection.”

Released in 2017, ‘Mom’ starred Sridevi and directed by Ravi Udivar.

The ‘Chandni’ actress also received the Best Actress National Award posthumously for her performance in the film.

The manufacturer also shared updates about its upcoming production enterprise ‘No Entry’. He opened the leading women in the film and said that they would finally announce the names of actresses finally.
Boney said, “This (no entry) will go for some time in July-August. There are many prominent women, so I can’t talk about something right now. We have stopped something right now and have something to go. After we finalize, we will have a formal announcement.”

Boney Kapoor is currently producing the much awaited sequel for the 2005 hit comedy ‘No Entry. The pre-production process of the film has already started.

Although more information about the plots and members of other artists remains under wrapping, some viral reports suggest that ‘No Entry 2’ will play Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanj in the lead roles.

‘No Entry’, also directed by Bazmee, was a major success on its release in 2005.

The film, including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta and Esha Deol, became a major hit in a contingent.

Meanwhile, the IIFA Digital Awards held on March 8 saw the major victory for Kriti Sanon, Jitendra Kumar, Panchayat Season 3 and Amar Singh Chakkila.

The main IIFA Awards Night hosted by Karthik Aryan and Karan Johar was closed on 9 March. The Awards show also showed a performance by Kareena Kapoor Khan to pay tribute to her great grandfather, filmmaker Raj Kapoor.

Earlier in the day, the event celebrated the 50th anniversary of the classic film ‘Sholay’, which was with a special screening at the prestigious Rajmandir Cinema.
