L2: Empuran Reluse – Plot will also be clear to the audience, who saw Part 1, Prithviraj Sukumaran says

Chennai: Director and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has made it clear that his ‘L2: Empuraan’, the second installment of the ‘Lucifer’ franchise awaited by his curiosity, in which Mohanlal is shown prominently, will also be a stand-alone film, which is also able to look at a person who is also franchise.

The director, who attended a press meet in Chennai, recently asked if the audience had not seen the first part, he would be able to understand the story of the second part.

Responding to this question, Prithviraj said, “My writer Murali Gopi and I were very special that the film should also be in existence as a stand-alone film. It is intended to make the third part of this franchise with the same quality. Even if you have not seen the first part, you will understand the plot, story and story of the other part.”

However, the director said that for those who had seen the first part, some sequences and dialogues may be remembered.

“If someone claps in the theater, when you are watching the film, you can think, ‘They are clapping for this dialogue?” This can happen because he has remembered something from the first part, but in addition it is a stand-alone film, ”he said.

The director said to explain, “When we completed the first part, we still finished it in such a way that the story was completed, even if there is no other part. In the second part, I have taken a chance as a filmmaker. By the time the second part is over, you are expecting to see for the first time.”

Mohanlal-Starr L2: Empuran (L2E) is being jointly produced by Antony Perumbavur, Laika Productions and Sri Gokulam films. The story of the film is written by Murali Gopi and its music is composed by Deepak Dev. The film stars Cinematography by Sujit Vasudev and Akhilesh Mohan.

The first part of the franchise released in 2019, ‘Lucifer’ and who first marked under the direction of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, emerged a blockbuster in just eight days. It made more than Rs 200 crore, making it the highest grossing Malayalam film.

There is no need to say expectations from the sequel, which is determined to hit the screen on 27 March this year, has increased.
