How Tamil Games are inspired by the realities of life life

In the Kapidhwaja (written and directed by Srivathasan) of the Damies Drama, businessman Parthiban (Baskar) is a man of principles. Due to his strong moral compass, he is in the woodcutter with his family and his office staff. So he decides to keep away from everyone for a few days, and goes on a pilgrimage. But you soon get surprised as to whether he is really disgusting as he claims to be. He asks the driver Sarathi (Gokulakrishnan) to park the car correctly at the entrance of a temple, although there is a specified parking area.

He is very happy when he welcomes the trustee of the temple. These are all privileges that he provides due to his position. As Sarathi says, she only climbs down from her car, never from her position. In every temple, which he travels, Parthiban finds out a energetic old man in the ocher-colored dhoti, in which a cloth bag is slipped on his shoulders. Parthiban is surprised when he discovers that without thinking -the man Gururam owns many companies around the world. It is learned that Gururam (Sridhar) was once poor and had traveled to temples by bus. He just wants to remove experience. The moment he is boot and favorable, however, wait for Gururam to be opened to the car door. Is his simplicity just a currency? Or is it wrong to decide? The play raises the question of what we mean by morality, or use a better word religion. Sarathi gives Parthiban a modern version of the Bhagavad Gita, without its Vedentic trapping. The charioteer is a practical philosophy, showing us that sometimes we should take a nap on the faults of the people around us, even the idea of religion should increase slightly for practical purposes. Coming for the title. Kapidhwaja is the name of Arjuna’s chariot, in which he had a flag as Hanuman. (Copy – monkey; flag – flag).

The title is appropriate, given that the charioteer in Srivathasan’s play is not just a driver, but like the original charioteer (Lord Krishna), he also gives clarity to the person who is operating. Kapidhwaja shows the progress of a pilgrim to self-centered to self-centered analysis. Kapidhwaja should not be seen superficially. We have to read between lines and enjoy it.

Although all the actors played their roles well, Sridhar and Gokulakrishnan deserve special mention.
