The makers of the Sunny Deol-starrer ‘Jait’ have issued an official statement that issued an official statement addressing a dispute around a scene in the film, which has given rise to objections from members of the Christian community.

The complainant objected to specific scenes in the film, claiming that he was aggressive to the community’s religious beliefs. Based on preliminary investigation, an FIR was lodged against five persons associated with the film.
The scene that gave rise to the controversy showed the character of Rampi Hooda standing under a cross inside a church, located directly above the holy pulp, while worshipers were engaged in prayer – a image that attracted strong criticism and allegations of religious insensitivity.
