Cooli Movie Review: Rajinikanth in fine form in the first half

But Coolie – At least the first half – is not only about celebrating man. It begins with Dhaya (Saubin Sahir), which is the main henchman in a port. Some shady business is involved and Simon (Nagarjuna) is on the hull. With a police informers among thousands of workers, to find out who the rats are, it is a subin’s work. The first few minutes set this base, and the rat is found and executed rapidly.

But … what if there were more rats?

Enter into the deity (Rajinikanth), who is running a mansion away from all this madness. They do not get a grand introduction sequence – his first dialogue is simple as “Solu da Kumar” (tell me Kumar) … and it is a sign of things to come.

Coolie – At least in the first half – not all about Rajinikanth. It has a slow mo and a little preaching in a hostel, but for the credit of Lokesh, he sucks you in the story. That friendship (an arc between Rajinikanth and Satyaraj that we want to know more), and an alleged betrayal friendship (an arc between Shruti Haasan and Rajinikanth) and some colors of gray (Nagarjuna, always between smoke and wine bottles).

Of course, composer Anirudh has tracks – such as ‘Monica’ and ‘Powerhouse’ – adding taste to good remedies.
