Zendaya was one of the highlights of the Met Gala this year, bringing home two show-stopping looks. The actor was one of the co-chairs of the event this year, which took place on the first Monday of May (Tuesday in India). Soon after, Zendaya’s actor-boyfriend offered the most beautiful congratulations for her big night in his latest Instagram post. Tom shared both of Zendaya’s looks on his Instagram handle and added a heart-eyes emoticon in the caption.

Reacting to Tom’s cute shoutout, many fans commented on the post. One wrote: “The best boyfriend of the year award goes to you!” Another fan commented, “You are the sweetest boyfriend!” The other said, “Both of you kill me!! (Heart eyes emoticon) You guys are the cutest! I love how you both support each other.” One comment also read, “Z’s biggest supporter!”

This isn’t the first time that Tom has shown support for Zendaya through his social media. A few days ago, she shared the poster of Zendaya’s new release, sports drama Challengers, on her Instagram handle and wrote, “I know what I’m doing this weekend!” Zendaya stars in Challengers alongside Mike Fest and Josh O’Connor.

Meanwhile, Zendaya took The Garden of Time theme seriously in her look for the event. Her first look was an emerald green and electric blue gown with metallic details, a drape and a hand-painted veil. Her surprise second look for the event was extremely dramatic. This was a design used in John Galliano’s haute-couture collection for Givenchy in January 1996, styled with a bouquet-themed veil in black tulle over her head. Both looks were designed by his longtime collaborator Law Roach.
