Amidst the stars and glitz of the fashion world, the Met Gala 2024 exuded glamor and sophistication as it graced the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The annual event, fondly called ‘Fashion’s Biggest Night’, adopted the theme ‘Sleeping Beauties: Rewalking Fashion’, moving away from its traditional extravagance to focus on the revival of timeless garments of bygone eras.

Stepping down the iconic Met Gala stairs, Kylie Jenner turned heads with her ethereal appearance. Adhering to this year’s dress code inspired by ‘The Garden of Time’, Jenner mesmerized in a plunging pale pink gown with a cone-shaped accent at the bust, and a cascading train that flowed with grace. For Jenner, this was her seventh appearance at the Met Gala, a testament to her evolution in fashion.

As the night fell, the Met Gala not only celebrated the Costume Institute’s new exhibit, but also served as a canvas to showcase iconic pieces from centuries of fashion history. From the avant-garde designs of Elsa Schiaparelli to the timeless creations of Christian Dior, the exhibition offered a nostalgic journey through the evolution of fashion.

Co-chaired by Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and Bad Bunny, the Met Gala 2024 stood as an epitome of elegance, symbolizing the intersection of art, culture and haute couture.
