Fans around the world shared photos and videos when the group made their Met Gala debut. The eight cast members walked the carpet wearing custom Tommy Hilfiger suits in the designer’s trademark red, white and blue. As fans appreciated their appearance at the event and how beautiful they looked, many also shared videos saying that the Met Gala paparazzi made ‘racist’ comments at the group.
What the Met Gala Paparazzi Allegedly Revealed About Stray Kids
Some paparazzi were heard chatting in a video shared by a fan. One of them said, “I have never seen such emotional faces before.” Another voice was heard saying, “They’re robots.” The first person laughed and said, “Yeah, right?” Afterwards, when the Stray Kids members took off their coats to reveal their costumes, a paparazzo said, “Oh, now we have to do it again?” Someone also said, “Now, let’s do it with emotions. Everyone jumps.” The paparazzi were also heard laughing.

Reacting to the clip, one person wrote: “I’m really mad. Are these paparazzi so stupid and racist? Who let them in?” One fan said, “Paparazzi being so loudly racist towards SKZ at the Met and not facing any reaction from people around him is crazy.” One comment said, “Can someone please spread this?? Are the paparazzi always this rude…literally after they said this I’m sure they’ll start doing hello?”

Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name. The group released their pre-debut extended play (EP) mixtape in January 2018 and officially debuted with the EP I’m Not on March 25. This was followed by the I Am series EPs, I Am Who and I Am You, Clay 1: Miroh, Clay 2: Yellow Wood, and Clay: Levantar.
The group’s debut studio album, Go Live, was released in 2020. In 2021, Stray Kids’ second studio album, Noisey, was released. The group also released the EPs Ordinary, Maxident (both in 2022), and Rock-Star (2023), and their third studio album 5-Star (2023).
