Mahabubnagar: Actress Pavitra Jayaram, who played the role of Thilottama in the hit Telugu television series ‘Trinayani’, died in a road accident in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. Jayaram died on the spot in an accident at Divitipalli in Mahabubnagar district on Sunday when she was returning from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, police said.

According to Bhootpur police, “She died in a road accident at Divitipalle in Mahabubnagar district at 1 am last night. She was on her way to Hyderabad from Bengaluru.” He said his car lost control and hit the divider and later a bus hit his vehicle.

According to media reports, Pavitra Jayaram died in the accident, while her cousin and driver were seriously injured. More information is awaited.

Actor Sameep Acharya condoled the actor’s demise. “Woke up in the morning to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be special,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories.

Pavitra started her acting career in Kannada TV industry with the serial ‘Jokaali’. In 2018, she debuted in the Telugu TV industry with ‘Ninne Pelladatha’.

He gained popularity in every household with the TV serial ‘Tilottama’. The actress was famous for her roles in Kannada television series. Apart from this, he also worked in other languages. Pavitra also won the hearts of the audience with her excellent acting in Telugu serials.

His demise has come as a shock to the entertainment industry, with his colleagues and fans in deep grief.
