‘I am impressed by his work’

Speaking to the publication, JLo confessed that she enjoys Dev’s films. When asked to name his favorite Indian actor, he said, “I like Dev Patel. (I just) like his work. Whenever I see his work I am amazed. He is so emotionally available; He is very real and true. (Her eyes) are so charming that it brings you in. She also told the publication that she would love to share the screen with him someday.

Jennifer will soon star in a sci-fi thriller film titled Atlas. Directed by Brad Peyton, the Netflix film, which will stream May 24, also stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. In the film, she plays the role of a data analyst named Atlas Shepherd. His character is seen going through his journey in the film. The film’s synopsis reads, “A brilliant counterterrorism analyst with a deep distrust of AI discovers that it may be his only hope when a mission to capture a renegade robot fails.” Jennifer is married to actor Ben Affleck, who is also one of the producers of the film.

Dev was most recently seen in Monkey Man, which he starred in, directed and produced. The film tells the story of a fighter who makes a living by fighting in an underground fight club wearing a gorilla mask. However, as his years age he tries to explode and take revenge, and settle scores with those who took everything from him in his childhood. The film has not been certified and released in India yet. He will soon star in the psychological horror film Rabbit Trap.
