Johnny Depp’s latest film Jean du Barry makes its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. This is the Pirates of the Caribbean stars’ first film in four years and is set to arrive on digital streaming platforms soon.
Jeanne du Barry is a romance drama that recounts the historical story of the French King Louis XV and his last mistress, the commonwealth Jeanne, played by Maven, who co-wrote and produced the film.

Vertical Entertainment announced on May 14 that Jean du Barry would be available on digital streaming platforms from May 21. The film will be available for rent or purchase on various digital channels, including premium video on demand.
VUDU, aka Fandango at Home, has already put Jean du Barry up for preorder at $14.99, which is most likely the purchase price.
Digital rental prices are often about $5 less than the purchase price. According to this assumption, Jean du Barry should be available for PVOD rental for $9.99, with up to 48 hours of viewing once started.

Jean du Barry held its world premiere in London in April, starring Johnny Depp in the lead role and the film’s fortes feature since his 2020 indie drama Minamata. Critics reviewed the film before or after its screening at the Cannes Film Festival in early May.
Rotten Tomatoes gave Jean du Barry a 45% “rotten” rating based on 74 reviews.
On the other hand, moviegoers praised Jean du Barry, giving the film an impressive 95% positive audience score based on 50+ verified users.
