Last night, CNN unearthed a video of Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016, and fellow rapper 50 Cent took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on it.
“Now I’m sure Puffy didn’t do it, he’s innocent, it doesn’t prove anything! This is what his lawyer is going to say. May God help us all,” he posted a message along with the video of the attack.
Despite this, 50 Cent suspected that Diddy’s lawyers still found some way to prove Puffy guilty. He was now apparently preparing to face a controversial law case that could affect Cassie’s defense.

Diddy’s ‘Enough Is Enough’ letter dismissed by 50 Cent
50 Cent also burned Diddy’s ‘Enough Is Enough’ letter on X, saying, “Lie detector test showed it was a lie… Maury vibes.
In a letter that drew sympathy, the music mogul sought to prove his innocence, saying, “For the past few weeks, I have sat quietly and watched as people attempted to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. trying.”
“Disgusting allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”
“Let me be very clear: I did not do any of the terrible things that I am being accused of. I will fight for my name, my family and the truth,’ Didi ended her letter.
The video, originally obtained and released by CNN, shows Combs throwing Ventura to the ground, repeatedly kicking him and dragging him across the floor. The attack occurred near the elevator bay outside his hotel room at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

The release of the video confirmed some of the serious allegations Ventura made against Combs in his November 2023 lawsuit. The lawsuit included claims of physical abuse, rape and more. Ventura reached an undisclosed settlement with Diddy after the lawsuit was filed, despite his legal team vehemently denying his allegations.
In his complaint, Ventura detailed the 2016 hotel attack, saying it occurred when Combs became “extremely intoxicated” in his hotel room. She alleged that Combs punched her in the face, resulting in a black eye.
These specific details of Ventura’s trial were further supported by video evidence that emerged years later.
