Since December 2023, Astro’s Cha Eun Woo has held the top ranking spot on the boy group Member Brand Reputation Index (except for February, when RIIZE’s Wonbin defeated him for the title, while Eunwoo ranked No. 2). His undefeated glory also got priority in these rankings in May.
The crowned prince of brand rankings maintained its position at the top of the table, showed the Korean Business Research Institute’s cumulative data analysis from April 18 to May 18.
This month, Eunwoo achieved a brand reputation index of 2,884,446. The most popular phrases in keyword analysis associated with their brand included “face genius,” “moonbin,” and “you quiz on the block.” Other words synonymously associated with her artistic persona were “sweet,” “revealing,” and “tearing.” They also received an unbeatable score of 92.77% positive responses.

For this month’s survey, the Korean Institute compiled a list of 730 K-pop boy group members.
On the boy group members chart, RIIZE’s Wonbin and Eunwoo have been going back and forth, swapping their ranks for months. Once again, the 2002-born SM Entertainment artist claimed second place with a brand reputation index of 1,953,300, showing a significant increase from his April score.
NCT’s Doyoung saw a huge jump in his score with a cumulative score of 1,921,339. As a result of the release of his solo debut album, Youth, in April, the industry put him in the spotlight as a singer of exceptional ability. Following the example of Taeyong and Ten, he is now the third member of NCT to debut as a solo artist. Doyoung was the only NCT member to chart on the May Index.
Where did the BTS members stand on the May charts?
Sensational Septet’s Jimin, Jungkook, and V made the top 10, ranking at 5, 9, and 10, respectively. BTS’s leader, RM, is close behind in 11th place. Jin, who is expected to return from the military as the band’s first member in June this year, ranked 13th. Meanwhile, Suga and J-Hope claimed the 15th and 16th positions respectively.
